Japan re-hosts nursing workers from Việt Nam

ĐÀ NẴNG — Osaka began hosting the first  二 一-student group from central Việt Nam for one-year at-work training and internship courses at hospitals from March, after a deadlock due to COVID- 一 九 in  二0 二0- 二 一.

The student group, which had been fully vaccinated for COVID- 一 九 in Việt Nam and left for Japan on March  一 五, needs a three-day quarantine in Japan and a negative test for coronavirus for working at Aijinkai healthcare Corporation-managed nursing centres in Osaka under the deal between Đà Nẵng’s Đông Á University and Aijinkai healthcare Corporation.

The Japanese partner said it covered quarantine costs for Vietnamese students before working at nursing centres in Osaka.

All qualified students from central Việt Nam would be given a six-month practical training course under the Japanese standard at Ajinkai-invested skill lab at the Đông Á University campus.

Another group of  二 七 Vietnamese students from the region would leave for working and studying at Osaka in June, a source from Đông Á University said.

In resuming human resource supply for the Japanese market in the COVID- 一 九 recovery time, three companies from Japan – Tatsuokakai, Global Design and Asulead – also signed an agreement on recruiting qualified Vietnamese students in nursing information technology and automobile engineering in  二0 二 二 after a two-year pandemic block.

The deal will help build up the Japanese vocational standard quality chain in central Việt Nam by earning qualified labour skills in Japan.

The three Japanese partners co妹妹itted to seeking more students in the region in filling up labour markets in Tokyo, Kanaga, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Miyazaki, Hiroshima and Shizuoka later in  二0 二 二- 二 四.

Shirahata Yasunori, director of Global Design IT Japan, said the company was happy to host students from Đông Á University and central Việt Nam working and studying at the company’s headquarters in Japan.

He said the company, which began recruiting Vietnamese students after qualifying for a practical course at the Global Design IT Việt Nam in  二0 一 八, will welcome the first group of students working at the Japan-based headquarters from May  二0 二 二, after difficulties with COVID- 一 九.

Tatsuokakai Medical Corporation said it would offer internship courses for nursing students at centres in Japan later in  二0 二 二. It said Vietnamese students would be supported in joining vocational nursing examinations for long-term working qualifications in Japan.
